Meta-Analysis in SPSS In-Person

Meta-analysis combines quantitative data collected from multiple studies to calculate an overall effect size. This workshop will give an overview of what types of meta-analysis can be done in SPSS, what types of publication data can be processed and how to combine results published in different formats. We will use example data from both continuous and binary outcomes to show what key features to look for when producing a meta-analysis. This workshop does not assume prior knowledge of SPSS. To download SPSS for your own laptop SPSS - Software Downloads - LibGuides at De Montfort University. If you are using a university-managed computer you will need to raise a request with ITMS to install SPSS. This is a face-to-face workshop; the PCs in the room have SPSS on them.
