To use or not to use? Critically evaluating sources of information Online

Information has never been so abundant or easy to find but this brings with it new problems. We know about the issues with fake news on social media and not referencing Wikipedia but how do you decide whether something is appropriate to use in an assignment? This workshop will provide you with the skills you need to critically evaluate sources of information so you can be sure you are using and referencing suitable research.

Please note this is not a workshop on critically reading articles but about ensuring that the sources of information you are using are appropriate for academic work.
