SAGE Research Methods Video In-Person

This training session will give you a thorough introduction to SAGE Research Methods Video: Practical Research & Academic Skills; a video collection which offers support on the practical skills needed to successfully complete research. Practical skills such as project management, writing for publication, presenting work, and building networks are covered. Video brings research methods and statistics to life, and students will be able to find help and support to guide them through every step of their research project. The collection contains 442 videos, which is just over 61 hours of streaming content! The session will cover how to search and browse the platform, video functionality, and different video types. Participants will also have time to ask questions, so that by the end of the session, everyone will be ready to start exploring the platform independently.

This session would be perfect for library staff who support research activity across the university’s academic community, as well as for faculty members who are teaching Research Methods courses, supervising researchers, and those conducting their own research projects.

You can view the collection here.
