Note-taking and Onenote

Note-taking and Onenote

Learn how to use OneNote for note-taking.

OneNote is a digital notebook that automatically saves you work. Just like a physical notebook, it has tabs and pages.

OneNote can help you organize your projects, notes and ideas. You can also use OneNote to take lecture notes. As it is a digital notebook, you can capture and organise your digital notes.

  • Type directly into your notebook or insert information from other applications or web sites.
  • Handwritten notes or draw up ideas with a stylus or mouse.
  • Highlighting and tag items
  • Record audio with bookmarks and notes (interviews, audio notes)
  • Collaborate with others by sharing notebooks via your OneDrive
