Moving beyond teaching: Understanding research at the University and the support that LLS provides - Jenny Coombes (LLS) In-Person

The session will provide an overview of the UK research context and how DMU is seeking to increase research productivity and reputation. The session will discuss how LLS supports researchers and demystifies some of the jargon used when talking about research activities. Specific topics covered include: Supporting PhD students; Open Access and what this means: requirements for managing research data is; the importance of research visibility; and tools to evaluate research impact.
