How to use the Make It Accessible service to convert text into different accessible formats In-Person

Workshop / Text-to-Speech / File and Text Conversion

Entry: All.

Level: Beginner

Make It Accessible allows anyone with a DMU email account to upload a document and convert it into an alternative accessible format with SensusAccess. This workshop is a practical session where we will go through the steps of converting text into other accessible formats with Make It Accessible.

Convert almost any text into an accessible format with the click of a button.

PDF to Word
Word to MP3
PDF to E-Book
JPEG to Word
and many more...

Most text formats can be converted into an audio file, Word document or e-book. Pictures of posters and other types of text can also be converted. So, if you use your phone to take pictures of text, these can be converted using SensusAccess.

The service is helpful for anyone who would like a document converted into a different format; including from PDF to an editable Word document.

Make It Accessible with SensusAccess is free to use for all DMU staff and students.
