Top tips for better writing In-Person

Your writing needs to convey your argument with clarity and precision. Mistakes in grammar, punctuation and spelling distract from what you are trying to say. Other common problems to avoid include muddled sentence construction, quotes that aren’t useful to your argument and sentences that go on for a whole paragraph. This workshop is aimed at all students who want to improve their writing style and may be particularly useful to overseas students.
